altough it might seem that way, we have not given this mod up, The staff are still planning how to progress, but it seems we will try to work on RoTS, and get it done.

RoTS is another mod with a different system, but it has the same concept as RTS.

Because the system of RTS was very messed up, arcoolka decided to just start all over again and make the scripts better yet more effective. Things that are better in RoTS:

- The player can get all of the resources manually, but it takes a long time.
- There's more 'evolving'. You start with a tent and a campfire and evolve into a town.
- You can recruit anyone in game. If you read the topic about 'Genetic Biology', that's what I'm talking about. If you want a slaver village, you can take the slavers from Paradise Falls. You want a children village, take Lamplight Caverns, etc.

Oh, I see. Im glad you guys are not giving up dispite the circumstances smile

Btw, didn't mean to sound like none of the other crew members mattered or anything, if some of you were under that impression I apologize!

Also, what exactly is RoTS? Is it a refinement of RTS, or just something similar to it? Like, is it the same core 'game-play' as in RTS but with added features? Or does it revolve around something different? I've seen some video teasers and all I can say is zomg and please, for the love of god finish it! :P

Do RoTS combines RTS? That do not need to re-open end of the construction of the city?

Indeed we do. Whizard fo thay has claimed he might be able to analyse the scripts of arcoolka, and if he can do that, everyone with minor GECK experience will be able to continue with this mod.

There's already a video of RoTS ready, and under normal curcumstances it would've been released already, yet with the chaos around whether to work on RTS or RoTS, it will be released later on.

Drazerk, Ark was the leader but these fine men, and possibly women, are very competent, they will find a way even without our beloved Ark, and all i have to say is that we all hope for the best for this mod.

Sweet, I was so bummed out when I first read about the lead designer (Guess that's the correct status? o.o) had left, and I had only just found this mod.

Just curious, how exactly are you going to keep developing this without Arc?
