• Your real name?

Peter Červenák

• Occupation?

Igraduated from the Law University, for five years I worked as anassociate in a law firm and now I have the best boss in the world, myself !

• Where do you live (country, city, whatever you feel like sharing)?

Slovakia, Komárno, a small town with the river Danube, the border with Hungary

• How did you get started modding?

It was in the long awaited November of 2008, as soon as Bethesda releasedFallout 3. (But before I say anything else, I would like to thankBethesda for Fallout 3 and for such great tool like GECK is. I had tosay this that you then not think that I am ungrateful )

Iam 32 years old fart, and I am/was a hardcore fan of Fallout 1,2series, with all of it’s belonging dreams, aspirations andexpectations, and disappointment too. When my expectations did notmaterialize in Fallout 3, the best thing I knew to do was to downloadGECK and study step by step how the system worked and then improve thegame and my own skills within this subject.

• Of the projects you've worked on, which ones are you most fond of?

WhenI saw all their errors and imperfection, I started to hate them all atthe end. But seriously, since majority of my sub-projects are gatheredin the Real Time Settler mod, I can say the RTS is mod I am the mostproud of.

• What inspired you most in creating mods?

The feeling that I experienced while playing Fallout 1,2, .

• What modding projects from other members of the community impressed you the most?

Iam familiar with the work of others modders even though I didn’t playtheir mods. In December 2008 I started from scratch. The onlyprogramming language that I have ever been taught was the BASIClanguage, which I learned in the elementary school. My only option wastherefore to study the vanillas scripts and the mods of other modders. And this way I found the work of J3X. I have learned and used a lot offrom his creations. On the other hand, there are plenty of gifted guysout there, for example Skykappa and his 3D moddels, Yossarian22 and hisGlobal travel system, and many more.

• Recently you announced that you're not going to be modding anymore. What will you miss most about working with the community?

I will miss community itself, I met a lot of great people there, andalthough modding is a time-consuming thing, the selflessly investedenergy returned to me in the selfless support of many people to whichnow belongs my thanks. A lot of them will still work on the communityand although I don’t know what they have planned, now it is up to ourcommunity how they want to continue. The RTS mod has great initiativeto be competitive in form of creating the coolest, most creativevillage etc, and with the “Blue printer” it’s always fun to see whatcreations the players make, what choices they take.

• Any exciting plans you care to share with folks?

Could it be a suggestion? “Never say never and do everything needed to make your dreams come true.”

• Are there any skills/lessons/etc you learned from the modding community that you see helping you in other aspects of life?

Yes,my science skill level improved drastically. But now it is a time toimprove other pages of my personality and move to the next level

• Outside of modding, are there any games you're looking forward to playing?

• What are your favorite games of all time?

A life. The greatest game ever made.

• Michael Jordan came out of retirement twice...you think you'll ever get back into modding?

AsI didn’t expect one year ago that I would ever start, and because Isuggest to never say never, I can’t say I will not be coming back. ButI don’t expect it.

RoTS FTW!

Hi everyone,

The staff have now decided to work on RoTS, instead of continuing on RTS. RoTS has much easier and more stable systems than RTS does. Unfortunately, since all of us still have to learn a lot about modding, it will still take some time untill a public beta will be finished.

So to keep you all excited and interested: The RoTS trailer!

Have fun watching. I hope you keep enjoying Fallout 3 and checking this website once in a while.

altough it might seem that way, we have not given this mod up, The staff are still planning how to progress, but it seems we will try to work on RoTS, and get it done.
